John Charnock
Chief Executive Officer
Prior to forming Inventive IT in 2007 John held senior IT management positions within Mytravel and Thomas Cook. John's technical background is in database architecture and development, commercial pricing and management information systems. When he's not working John likes travelling, especially to the far-east where he can take part in his favourite sport of Muay Thai kick boxing.
Nik Southworth
Chief Operating Officer
Nik joined the team at Inventive IT in April of 2010 having been a customer of the business since its formation. Originally from a technical background in Software Development and Database Administration he attained a senior management position within the Accommodations and Destinations sector of TUI Travel specialising in online hotel sales.
Rory Powers
Director - Tour Operating Systems
Rory has been working in IT for travel companies since 2001 when he started work with MyTravel as a software developer working on applications to aid the company's cruise division. From there he went on to create the group's late pricing application before ultimately being responsible for Tour Operator and Retail management information. Rory co-founded Inventive IT in 2007 and continues his work with data warehousing and holiday pricing applications. In his down-time Rory loves to travel to Australia to see his family stopping off in south-east Asia on the way or, failing that, chase some adrenalin down the slopes on a snowboard.
David Mathews
Director - Web Development
Skiing enthusiast David began a career in web in 2001 after completing a degree in Computer Science from Warwick University. His foray into Travel took him through web lead positions at MyTravel and Thomas Cook; thriving on large-volume high transactional travel e-commerce websites; before becoming a founding director of Inventive IT in 2007. When not in-front of a browser he can be found cooking, playing squash, or looking after his three-legged cat.
Andrew Holmes
Director - Airport Systems
After qualifying as a Chartered Accountant with Coopers & Lybrand, Andy moved into Applications consultancy. He brings 20 years Project Management and Functional consultancy experience to the company. When not working, his life mainly revolves around his children and trying to keep fit.
